INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 8, 2017) – LST Marketing (LST), headquartered in Indianapolis, is restructuring its executive management team following its recent acquisition of Dallas, Texas-based PPI Marketing, co-founded by Heisman Trophy winner and Pro Football Hall of Famer Roger Staubach, along with longstanding business associate Roz Cole.

Starke Taylor, co-founder and president of LST Marketing, will move into LST’s CEO role. Both Staubach and Cole will remain business partners in LST Marketing, with Cole serving in an advisory role to the company’s executives.

LST Marketing partner and experienced industry executive Gene Cottingham will lead operations in the Indianapolis office. Cottingham has been LST’s executive vice president of strategy since 2015 and also serves as LST’s CFO.

Co-founder and LST Marketing partner and CEO John Lopes will now transition to a non-executive chairman role with the company in order to focus on other private business interests. Lopes will continue his involvement with LST as a business partner and advisor to LST’s ownership as its non-executive chairman.

“It’s been a fantastic experience leading LST Marketing and I look forward to the continued growth of our company,” said Lopes. “We have a great executive team in place, supported by a talented group of professionals. Our strong and supportive team, along with my business partners, are providing me the opportunity to pursue some unfinished business with longstanding friends that we will announce in the near future.”

“John and I have been longtime friends and business partners,” said Taylor. “LST Marketing has been an exciting journey together, and John will be missed in the day-to-day management of the company, but welcomed in his new role as chairman. The vision for LST that we began continues and our recent business growth in Texas is exciting.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some of the best professionals in our industry and I foresee prosperous growth in LST’s future,” said Cottingham.  “I look forward to working with John in his new role.”

LST Marketing recently expanded its business with the addition of its Dallas operations and teams supporting athlete talent integration plus strategic consulting in support of its longstanding event management, sports and entertainment marketing, and experiential activation verticals.
