WESTFIELD, Ind. (July 6, 2016) – Multiple sponsors have signed on to support the Westfield Mayor’s Yellow Tie Ball gala event Saturday, July 23, the finale of the three-day Grand Park Events Center Grand Opening Celebration.

Tom Wood Volkswagen of Indianapolis has committed as the Presenting Sponsor for the event, which will take place at the new, 370,000 square-foot Grand Park Events Center. Krieg DeVault, an Indianapolis law firm, has signed on as the Mayor’s Sponsor, and Methodist Sports Medicine, a leading specialty orthopedic group in Central Indiana, has signed on as the Westfield Economic Development Sponsor. 

The following businesses also have invested in this year’s Mayor’s Yellow Tie Ball: Hamilton County Sports Authority, Legacy Fund, Hamilton County’s Community Foundation, Urick Concessions, Biddle Memorial Foundation, Bullpen Tournament w/ Crider & Crider, Church, Church, Hittle & Antrim, Sheridan Youth Assistance Program, Enterprise RAC and The Bridgewater Club.

Guests are encouraged to be attired in formal wear and athletic shoes to celebrate the gala event and unique facility on the turf at the Grand Park Events Center. A sponsor reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, presentations and a silent auction from 7 to 9 p.m. Live entertainment and music will be provided by the Fun Factor Band from 9 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased by clicking here.

Proceeds from the Opening Celebration and Mayor’s Yellow Tie Ball will benefit the Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program (YAP), which was developed in the fall of 2009 as a pilot program in Westfield. It’s since grown to incorporate all of Hamilton County, including Carmel, Hamilton Heights, Fishers, Noblesville and Sheridan. In a desire to be proactive in assisting the healthy development of Hamilton County youth and their families, the program offers counseling for youth and families, youth anger management classes, parenting classes, food and clothing assistance and more.

Grand Park will celebrate the opening of Grand Park Events Center, the 370,000 square-foot indoor field sports and events facility, in a special three-day event Thursday, July 21 through Saturday, July 23. The celebration will include an indoor festival at the Grand Park Events Center featuring food, carnival games, inflatables, movie nights, vendors and preview tours.
